Who we are
Bóveda Arquitectura is an architecture studio based in Estepona, specialising in the design and delivery of luxury villas on the Costa del Sol, with a strong presence in Marbella and its surroundings. It is led by architect Daniel Bóveda, registered with the Málaga Chamber of Architects under number COA no., with over twenty years of experience in high-end residential work.
We are not a volume practice. We take on a limited number of commissions each year because supervising a villa properly requires real presence on site, not a monthly report. That is the difference between a house delivered on programme and one delivered whenever it happens.
How we design
Every project starts with the place: the slope of the plot, where the westerly sun comes from, where the sea is, what you see from the upper level and what you would rather not see. Architecture comes afterwards, as an answer. That is why we never repeat types: two adjoining plots in Benahavís can call for two opposite houses.
Three principles stay fixed: timeless design, sustainability measured in actual consumption, and complete customisation of the brief. Plus one obsession — that the final cost should resemble the initial budget.

What makes us different
A single point of contact
The architect who draws the house is the one who visits the site and answers your call. No account managers in between.
Cost under control from concept stage
We estimate construction cost from the first proposal and revise it at every stage. Overruns almost always come from decisions taken too late.
Built for clients who live abroad
Photographic progress reports, video meetings and the ability to decide remotely. Most of our clients live outside Spain during construction.
Fabric before technology
Envelope and orientation first, heat pumps and home automation second. It is cheaper and it lasts longer.

What the planning code allows on that specific plot: buildability, footprint, height, setbacks and constraints.

Planning and construction documentation
Complete technical documentation, approved for licence and for building.

Licence applications
Major works licence, responsible declarations, public road occupation and first occupation licence.

Construction management
Site supervision and coordination with the quantity surveyor and the health and safety coordinator.

Interiors and landscape
Interior development, fitted furniture, lighting and garden design on request.
